‘Flora and Fauna in Malta’ is October’s theme for the DOI competition

'Flora and Fauna in Malta' is October's theme for the DOI competitionThe ninth theme for the monthly DOI photo competition is ‘Flora and Fauna in Malta.’ Participants are invited to submit photographs portraying the flora (i.e. the plant life) and fauna (i.e. the animal life) of Malta in order to show the wide variety of species which may be found on the Maltese Islands.

Individuals aged 14 and over are invited to participate by submitting photographs via email on doi.competitions@gov.mt. Each participant may submit up to 10 photographs and the photographs cannot be bigger than 1MB.

Participants may attach up to five (5) photographs to each email. Photos are to be sent between 1 and 31 October, both days included.

All submitted photos will be judged by a professional panel and one winner will receive a €1,000 prize.

During the month of September, the Department of Information received over 700 entries for the theme Architecture in Malta.
