The unique environs of the picturesque Lunzjata Valley was the perfect setting on Sunday afternoon for a family-orientated event – The Passion in the Valley.

Large crowds enjoyed a portrayal of Jerusalem’s natural environment during the time of Jesus Christ.For a few hours the valley was transformed through this live event, which included a Live Passion Tableaux presented by children, stands promoting Lenten and Easter traditions, local traditional seasonal food, and music and songs for this Holy time of the year.

The Passion in the Valley was organised by the Education, Science and Culture Centre, in collaboration with the UNESCO Office in Malta, the Ministry for Gozo and the Gozo College.
